Choco caramel dry fruits cake

Choco caramel dry fruits cake
Preparation time- 10 mins
Cooking time-  20 mins 
Total time- 30 mins

Ingredients :
  1. Corn flour-2 tsp
  2. All purpose flour/Maida- 1 cup
  3. Baking powder-1 tsp
  4. Salt- a pinch
  5. Egg- 3no.
  6. Powdered sugar- 2 cup
  7. Vanilla essence-1 tsp
  8. Butter- 20 gm
  9. Milk- 2tsp
  10. Choco powder- 5 tsp
  11. Dry fruits as needed (Soak dry fruits in sugar solution or plain solution for 2 hrs)
Method:
Step 1: Take maida, corn flour, baking powder, coco powder and salt in a strainer, sift it two times and keep it aside. For caramel solution, take a pan and warm it on low flame. Add sugar and wait for melting till brown color. Add 5ml of boiling water and stir it well, and keep it aside.

Step 2: Using hand held electric beater, beat butter continuously till the mixture turns into thick paste.Add powdered sugar and beat it until the sugar dissolves. Then add egg one by one, beat continously till it becomes thick mixture. 

Step 3: Then, add vanilla essence and caramel solution, and mix it well with the beater.

Step 4: Add sifted flour and melted butter into beaten mixture. Fold it gently with wooden spatula. Add chopped dry fruits too. Take a cake pan, apply butter liberally and dust it with maida and spread butter paper.

Step 5: Pre heat the oven at 180 Degree Celsius and bake the cake in conventional mode at 180 Degree Celsius for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, insert a long stick into the baked cake and withdraw it. If the stick is sticky, you have to bake it for another 2-3 minutes.

Step 6: Take the pan from oven and allow it to cool.

This cake is very soft and even if you keep it in a refrigerator for 2-3 days, still it will be very soft....really!!

Tips and warnings
  • For baking cakes, use medium height metal rack

Step 2: Take three eggs and powdered sugar in a bowl, stir it well and double boil it until the sugar dissolves. Using handheld electric beater, beat it continuously till the mixture turns into thick paste. Then, add vanilla essence and caramel solution, and mix it well with the beater.

Step 3: Take butter and milk in a bowl and heat it in microwave mode at 540 F for 2 minutes and allow it to cool.

Step 4: Add sifted flour and melted butter into beaten mixture. Fold it gently with wooden spatula. Take a cake pan, apply butter liberally and dust it with maida and spread butter paper.

Step 5: Pre heat the oven at 180 Degree Celsius and bake the cake in conventional mode at 180 Degree Celsius for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, insert a long stick into the baked cake and withdraw it. If the stick is sticky, you have to bake it for another 5-10 minutes.

Preparation time- 20 mins

Ingredients (for 4 servings):
  1. Wheat flour- 1cup
  2. Refined flour- for dusting
  3. Oil/Butter-2 tsp
  4. Onion-1 no.(Sliced)
  5. Veg pieces- as needed
  6. Boiled potato-1 no.
  7. Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
  8. Chili powder-1 tsp
  9. Cheese- as needed    
  10. Salt-as needed 
Method:

Step 1: Take a pan, pour oil and warm it on medium flame. Add onions, curry leaves and sort it well. Then, add turmeric powder and chili powder, and sort it. After a few seconds, add veg slices and salt, and cook it well by covering with a lid. Finally, add sliced potatoes to the mixture and keep it aside.

Step 2: In a bowl, mix flour and salt and knead it well. Take a portion of dough, make a lemon sized ball and make a sheet out of it by dusting with refined flour. Take a flat pan, warm it and put flour sheet by flipping both sides. 

Step 3: Take a cooked flour sheet, keep veg masala on one side and scrape cheese on it. Roll it from one side to another side as shown int the picture.

Step 4: Keep in micro oven at 540 degree C for five minutes.
