Parippu vada/ Dal Vada/ Masala Vadai /Lentil Fritters

Ingredients (for 2 servings):
Method:
Step 1: Soak chana dal and toor dal in water for 2hrs. and drain water for 10 minutes.
Step 2: Crush the soaked dal in mixer grinder with salt and asfoetida powder.
Step 3: Add chopped pieces of green chilly, shallots,curry leaves,fennel seeds and ginger, keep it aside for 10 minutes. Take the mixture and make balls and flatten it with your hand.
Step 4: Pour 5 tablespoon oil in pan and heat it in medium flame.
Step 5: Fry it deeply until it becomes golden brown color.
Tips and warnings
Drain the water thoroughly. Fry it in moderate flame.
