Ingredients :
  1. Cowpeas- 100 gm
  2. Finely chopped onion- 50 gm
  3. Oil- 3 tsp
  4. Mustard seeds- 1 tsp
  5. Tumeric powder- 1 tsp
  6. Chili powder- 2 tsp
  7. Salt- as needed 
  8. Coconut- 25 gm 
Method:

Step 1: Take cow peas in a pressure cooker, add salt and a glass of water and cook in on medium flame for three whistles.
 
Step 2: Pour oil in a pan and warm it on medium flame. Add mustard seeds, after a few seconds, add chopped onion,  curry leaves, turmeric powder, chili powder and stir it well.  Add cooked cow peas and cook it for a few minutes till it gets dry. Sprinkle coconut also.

Let it cooked for a few minutes by open, in between stir it well.

  7. Curry leaves- as needed
  8. Grated coconut- 1 cup
  9. Coconut oil- 2 tsp 
  10. Dried chili- 2 no.
  11. Mustard seeds-1 tsp

Method:

Step 1: Take a pan, add pineapple, salt and a glass of water, and cook it on low flame.

Step 2: Take coconut, garlic, green chili, turmeric powder, sambar onion and cumin seeds and grind it as a paste.

Step 3: Add this mixture to cooked pumpkin, stir it well and keep it closed with a lid for five minutes. 

Step 4: Take a pan, pour oil. Put mustard seeds, dried chilly, pieces of shallots and curry leaves into the oil. Add this to cooked mixture.

Ingredients (for 4 servings):
  1. Moong dal/ Cheru payar prippu/ Parsi paruppu-250 gm
  2. Milk-1 litre
  3. Sugar-250 gm
  4. Ghee- 3 teaspoon
  5. Milkmaid- 3 talespoon (optional)
  6. Raisins-10 no.
  7. Cashewnuts-10 no.
Method:
Step 1:Cook dal in 1 cup of water in a pressure cooker and keep it aside..

Step 2:Heat ghee in a pan, fry raisins and cashew nuts and keep it aside.

Step 3: In the same pan, boil the milk and add sugar and cooked dal.

Step 4: Stir it continuously, after 10 minutes add milk maid and stir till it becomes moderate consistency. 

Step 5: Add fried raisins and cashew nuts, serve it after 45 minutes. 

Tips and warnings
  • Stir it in a same direction
  • Boil it in a moderate flame
  • If you are adding milkmaid, add sugar carefully
  • Please remember to serve after 30-45 minutes.

Ingredients (for 4 servings):
  1. Palada-250 gm
  2. Coconut Milk- from one coconut
  3. Jaggary-250 gm
  4. Ghee- 3 teaspoon
  5. Sugar- 5 tsp
  6. Raisins-10 no.
  7. Cashewnuts-10 no.
  8. Dried ginger- 1 small piece
  9. Elachi/ cardamom- 3 no.
Method:
Step 1:Cook ada in 3-4 cups of water till it becomes soft, strain the warm water, keep it under running water and again strain it. Grind grated coconut and mix it with water and strain it three times, and keep it in three vessels. Boil a glass of water in a bowl and add powdered jaggary. When jaggary dissolves, strain it (this is for removing debris)

Step 2:Heat ghee in a pan, fry raisins and cashew nuts and keep it aside.

Step 3: In the same pan, add ghee and cooked palada and stir it well. Add jaggary solution and cook it for five minutes. After this, add coconut milk,  which is strained last and stir it for five minutes. Then, add coconut milk,  which is strained second and stir it till it becomes thick. At this stage, you can add crushed dried ginger and elachi and sugar too.

Step 4: Stir it continuously, after 10 minutes add coconut milk, which is strained first and stir till it becomes moderate consistency. 

Step 5: Add fried raisins and cashew nuts, serve it after 45 minutes.

Step 3: Add this mixture to cooked cucumber, stir it well and keep it closed with a lid for five minutes. When its get cool, take a grinder, add curd, grind it once to get a uniform mixture and mix it to cooked cucumber well.

Step 4: Take a pan, pour oil. Put mustard seeds, dried chilly, pieces of shallots and curry leaves into the oil. Add this to cooked mixture.
