Ingredients (for 4 servings):
- Whole purpose flour/maida- 1cup
- Butter- 50 gm
- Salt- as needed
- Egg- 1
- Yeast- 7 gm
- Sugar- 1 tsp
- Milk-5 tsp
Step 1: Add yeast and sugar in lukewarm milk and keep it aside for 5 minutes.
Step 2: In a bowl, mix flour, butter, salt, egg, and yeast solution and knead it well for 5-7 minutes.
Step 3: Cover with a wet cloth and keep it for 2 hours for fermentation. After 2 hours, take a baking tray, dust with butter and flour and spread the dough as shown in the picture. Keep it for 1 hour, covered with a wet cloth
Step 4: After an hour, keep it in a pre heated oven in 220-degree celsius for 20-25 minutes in a medium height metal rack.
