Ingredients :
- Oil- 3 tsp
- Mustard- 1 tsp
- Sambar onion/shallots - 1 no. (Sliced)
- Curry leaves- as needed
- Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
- Chilli powder- 1 tsp
- Coriander powder-1 tsp
- Garam masala-1/2 tsp
- Chinese potato- 250 gm (chopped)
- salt - as needed
Step
1: Take a pan, pour oil and add mustard seeds when it gets warm in low flame. Add onion and curry leaves and fry till onion gets golden brown color.
Step 2: Add turmeric, chili, garam masala and coriander powder, mix it very well in low flame.
Step 3: Add Chinese potato , sort it for a few minutes.
Step 4: Then, add salt, mix it very well, covered with lid and keep it in low flame for 5-7 minutes. Finally, you can garnish with coriander leaves too.

Step 4: Then, add salt, mix it very well, covered with lid and keep it in low flame for 5-7 minutes. Finally, you can garnish with coriander leaves too.

- Scrape the black colored skin properly
- Wash it minimum four times, to avoid contamination with sand granules
