Avulosunda/Rice sweet balls

Ingredients:
  1. Rice flour- 1 cup
  2. Coconut (freshly broken) grated-1 cup
  3. Salt- 1 tsp
  4. Jaggary- 250 gm
  5. Dried ginger and cardamom powder-1 tsp  
Method:
Step 1: Take rice flour, salt and coconut in a big vessel, mix it with your cleaned hand very well and keep it closed for 2 hours. Ensure that rice flour should be wet very well while mixing with the coconut.

Step 2: Keep the same vessel on medium flame and stir it well continuously until becomes golden brown color.

Step 3: On the other side, put the crushed jaggary and dried ginger and cardamom powder in two glasses of water and allow it to boil till the jaggary dissolves. Then, you strain it to remove small stones in the jaggary solution.

Step 4: When the rice flour becomes brown color, keep a hand of rice flour aside, add jaggary solution and mix it very well till you get a thick dough. You can add ghee too (optional). Make balls with your hand, dust it with fried rice flour and you can store it in an airtight container.
