Preparation time- 10-12 hours for fermentation
Cooking time- 5 mins
Ingredients :
- Raw rice-2 cup
- Urad dal- 1 cup
- Boiled rice-1/4 cup
- Fenugreek seeds- 5 no.
- Salt- as needed
Step 1: Soak raw rice, urad dal and fenugreek seeds in water for 4-6 hours.
Step 2: Take a mixer grinder jar, put soaked items and cooked rice, and grind it as a paste by adding water slowly.
Step 3: Take a steel bowl or glass bowl, pour this mixture, mix it well and keep it for 12 hours for fermentation.
Step 4: Take a nonstick pan and warm it on medium to high flame. Do not allow the pan to get burned. By the time, take a portion of the fermented mixture, add water and salt as needed to make moderate consistency. Pour it on a pan in round shape, wait for a few minutes and flip it on another side.
Tip- You can store this mixture in the refrigerator in a closed container up to three days.
